GGW046 - The Music of Bob Dylan Arranged For Fingerstyle Guitar

Code : GGW046
Isi : 1 DVD

The Music Of Bob Dylan Arranged For Fingerstyle Guitar. Learn how to play and sing nine classic Bob Dylan tunes from start to finish. This lesson will teach you how to fingerpick backup arrangements while singing, how to play instrumental solos and how to begin and end each song.
While studying Fred Sokolow’s arrangements you will also learn a lot about fingerpicking: backup patterns, soloing ideas and various chord positions.
Each song is played at regular speed and then slowed down with a split-screen that gives you a close-up look at the picking as well as chording hand. All the arrangements are clearly written out in tab and music in the accompanying booklet along with lead sheets and lyrics.
Here is a well made instructive DVD teaching solo guitar players how to play some of the popular songs of Bob Dylan. It is not a note-by-note replica of how Dylan played, which seems to bother some reviewers of Sokolow’s other DVDs. Using step by step teaching, excellent camera work, and an easy personal style, the instructor brings the guitarist to the point of playing Dylan, in a solo manner, in a very teachable and enjoyable manner.
